Online NMAT exam passes off without any glitches
Mumbai: NMAT, the online entrance exam for the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), was conducted without any major glitch.
Held at 51 centres and in 1,530 batches across the country, hardly four batches faced interruptions and the students resumed their tests the moment the problem was solved. Our aim is to test candidates knowledge and not their patience, said Sarvesh Shrivastava, managing director of Pearson VUE, which helped conduct the test. For this test, candidates were given the option of selecting the date and centre of their choice. To make things simpler, the applicants were also given the option of rescheduling their paper.
Considering that this was the first time that NMIMS opted for Computer Based Test, Rajan Saxena, the vice-chancellor of NMIMS, said, a lot of students had complained about not being able to sit for the exam as it was conducted on just one day. We realised we had to open the test window for all the applicants. |
