 UP engineer bells CAT in Ahmedabad
Vadodara: With 99.99 percentile, this budding engineering student from Bits Pilani has cracked CAT 2009 with flying colours. Prakhar Agrawal, a BE final year honours student, appeared for CAT from Ahmedabad centre and took guidance at a coaching class in Vadodara.
Agrawal was in the city from June to December in 2009 for his internship programme. It was during his stay that he enrolled himself with a coaching class for CAT preparation.
I saved on my travelling time and could manage to balance work as well as CAT preparation. The guidance that I got from the coaching class in the city also helped me a lot. My verbal skills were not very good, but I improved considerably during preparatory classes, said Agrawal who also leads Microsoft User Group, Vadodara chapter.
Having cleared the competitive test in first attempt, Agrawal has received two calls from IIM Ahmedabad and Kolkata. After clearing the test, I look forward to studying in Ahmedabad as it is the dream destination for any MBA aspirant, added Agrawal, who is eyeing Harvard Business School in USA for double MBA five years down the line.
Passing CAT is more about using intelligence than putting in hours of hard work. And, if one has proper guidance than preparing for the examination becomes easier. Getting 99.99 percentile is an accomplishment I will cherish all my life, shared Agrawal, senior most Microsoft Student Partner in the country.
