SNAP
Overview
Symbiosis is one of India’s leading educational
Institutions imparting quality education for over 30
years. Symbiosis today is the premier educational institute
of Pune and a brand equity in providing quality management
education. One of the major driving forces in establishing
SNAP Test is to provide convenience and ease of a common
entrance test for admissions to the Symbiosis institutes
offering postgraduate education.
The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a single
entrance test compulsory for candidates seeking admission
to any Symbiosis group of institute’s autonomous
postgraduate programs.
The SNAP Test duration is of 120 minutes.
It had 4 sections. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative
marks.
Eligibility
The candidate must be a graduate with at least 50% marks
and 45% in case of students belonging to SC,
ST and PWD.
If a candidate is currently in the final year of degree
program then they can also apply for the
examination.
Registration
As the first step you need to register online at www.snaptest.org.
Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1550/- according to the payment mode. The 4 choices are:-
- Payment through Cash
- Payment through Demand Draft
- Online payment through Credit Card
- Online payment through Net Banking
The third step is to print the Admit Card online. Bring the Admit card with the Photo Id Proof to the Test
Center. An acceptable photo identity is any one of *Passport * Driving license *College / Institute
identity card, *Credit card with photograph,* Voter ID Card. At the time of the written test, it is
mandatory to produce photo identity as described above. Symbiosis Authorized Person will verify and
authenticate the Admit Card against the photo-id. Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for
further selection processes of individual Institutes.
Note: No duplicate Admit Card will be issued in case it is lost by the candidate.

to the optimum level and play a large role in shaping
the students’ personality, knowledge and career.
Paper Pattern: (SNAP 2009)
SNAP Test duration was 120 minutes.
SNAP Test was an objective test. Each question had 4
responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate
response.
Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks. The four
sections were:
