 Introduction
Chetana's Institute of Management and Research
(CIMR) was the dream of founder Shri. Madhukarrao
Chaudhari that took concrete shape in 1996.
Situated in the heart of the commercial capital
of India, CIMR offers a unique opportunity for

Courses
Offered
 Post
Graduate Diploma in Business Management (2 Years)
PGDM Program is conducted on a semester basis with four
semesters spread over two academic years. Specialization
in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations
and Systems is offered from semester three onwards.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Marketing
Specialised Marketing subjects apart from other important,
relevant and contemporary subjects are offered to all
the students. Hence no separate specialisation is offered
to these students.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Retail
Specialised Retail subjects apart from other important,
relevant and contemporary subjects are offered to all
the students. Hence no separate specialisation is offered
to these students
Specialisations
 Eligibilty
In order to secure admission to the two-year full time
course the candidate should fulfill the eligibility
criteria.
- Passed with a minimum of 45 % marks in aggregate
in any Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years duration
in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian
Universities.
- Appeared for the CAT, MAT, XAT, JMET (Conducted
by IITs), ATMA (Conducted by AIMs), CET (Conducted by
DTE, Maharashtra State), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal
Interview (PI) conducted by the Institute.
- Candidates appearing for the final year examination
of any Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years duration
can also apply subject to fulfillment of eligibility
criteria for admission.
- Candidates should be of Indian nationality/origin.
Selection Process
All those who apply on the basis of CAT, MAT, XAT, JMET,
ATMA, CET (MAH-MBA/MMS) score card are called
for the GD / PI.
Weightage for GD/ PI:
- Group Discussion: 25
- Personal Interview: 25
Merit list and wait listed candidates list prepared
on the basis of GD / PI will be displayed on the notice
board in order of their merit.
Documents to be submitted during admission
Candidates are required to submit the following documents:
- Three sets of attested statement of marks of S.S.C.,
H.S.C and Graduation with Degree Certificate
- Migration Certificate for students from other Universities
- Prescribed CAT / MAT / XAT/ JMET / ATMA / Score Card.
[Converted into CET Score card], CET Score Card
- Two Passport size photographs
- Demand Draft for payment of fees
- Undertaking
- GAP Certificate / Affidavit
- Certificate of Indian Nationality in the name of the
candidate
- School Leaving Certificate for Date of Birth
Facilities
Library Facilities
A well stocked library with over 9000 books on diverse
subjects of management and general awareness are a students'
ultimate delight.
The library, which is the focal point of the Institute,
offers latest management books, foreign and Indian business
journals, case study folios, periodicals, audio-video
cassettes and CD-ROMs. This large database of books
is managed by using the Library Software Package, 'SLIM'.
The library has subscribed to powerful and versatile
electronic corporate databases from CMIE. The library
also has subscribed to EBSCO a collection of foreign
online journals.
The library also has annual reports of a large number
of companies, product profiles, encyclopedia, latest
journals etc.
IT
Facilities
The Institute provides full-fledged technological support
to the students for their projects, presentations and
research work.
Their Computer Center houses 241 HP (Pentium IV &
Core 2 Duo) & HCL machines, 2 HP Servers, laptops,
6 Printers and 3 scanners and 24 hours internet accessibility
with a speed of 1 mbps.
The lab has also subscribed to the powerful and versatile
electronic corporate databases from CMIE.
Classroom
The institute has spacious, fully air-conditioned
classrooms. The classrooms are well equipped with
Audio-Visual aids and Wi-Fi facilities. All the classrooms
provide the right ambience for learning.
Auditorium
The Auditorium is equipped with a sophisticated sound
system and audio- visual aids. With a seating capacity
of 450 it provides the right environment for holding
seminars, workshops, panel discussions and guest lectures.
