 Introduction
The ABMTR- ACADEMY OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, TOURISM
& RESEARCH (The ABMTR), an institution run by The
Bethel Educational Trust (Regd.), Bangalore, & Affiliated
to Bangalore University, is a New Generation Business
School that believes and practices a different practical
knowledge culture. The Institute is committed in transforming
the capabilities of every student and providing them an
opportunity to find their talent while leveraging their
capability to scale success in professional fronts in
the market place. To this extent, at ABMTR a body, the

The ABMTR is founded in the year 2005. by Dr. Shaji Thomas,
a professional who has created successful Programmes in Business
Management and Travel & Tourism. The ABMTR has made no compromises
in developing constructive and purposeful processes for assuring
a successful career for each student. “The Corporate Relations
and Placements Committee” at the Institute with its high
level contacts in the corporate and strong network with leading
HR Managers across India ensure that students don’t simply
get a job, but choose a career of their interest. Special thought
has been laid down to bring in a process that grooms the student
and focuses on all-around development like Communication &
Presentation Skills, Relevant Projects and Industry Assignment,
Research and Dissertation, and the practical aspects that make
“the Complete Young Manager”.

The Curriculum & Pedagogy
The curriculum is designed in consultation with industry experts
and is aligned with the needs of the industry. A Trimester pattern
is followed and students are graded on continuous basis. Compulsory
Internship Training for two months. The approach to learning
is Experiential in nature with participative techniques, beyond
classroom deliverance, for enhancing effective management skills.
This approach will enable students to gain holistic understanding
of modern business environment and help him / her to deliver
competence effectively.
The Faculty
The strong support of experienced, efficient and effective Faculty
drawn from Academia and Industry is the backbone of training
at ABMTR.
The Facilities
From sophisticated classrooms to technology enabled learning

ABMTR. In addition to well-equipped labs and library, Academic
Association as well as Student Interaction and Exchange Programmes

Location
The Institute is located near the IT corridor of Silicon Valley
and is 4 kms. before the Electronic City. It is situated on
Hosur Main Road.
International Tie-ups
The ABMTR has signed an MOU with Kings International University
of Science & Technology (KIUST), USA, to offer their MBA
& Ph.D. Programmes in India. The focus is on High Quality
Research both at Masters and Doctorate Level. The M.Sc. Strategic
Business & Information Technology is a Programme which is
offered in strategic tie-up with Portsmouth University, UK through
NCC Education.
Apart from the above, the uniqueness of ABMTR is – Moulding
Entrepreneurs. ABMTR, in association with Maini Group, has recently
set up Three Incubation Centres to help young and budding Entrepreneurs
to set up own Enterprise/ Ventures.
