PSB GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS
Increasingly organizations are hiring fresh management
graduates in big numbers. This is because of the growing economy
which has further fuelled growth in various industries right
from education, manufacturing industry, service sector such
as Banking; Insurance & IT related services and research
not only in India but in the entire world. Fresher coming out
of degree programs have no skills which can be directly used
by any organization. Hence an elaborate round of corporate training
becomes inevitable for all organizations.
POONA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS (PSB)
Will bridge gap and shall use all methodologies, training
aids and processes that are deployed in organizations such as
Reliance, TATA, Birla, ITC, Infosys, Wipro, etc. This will enable
students to spend all the time and resources on the subjects
and topics that are closely aligned to an organization requirement.
This PSB have its curriculum in the lines of corporate training
program and shall have dynamic features depending upon the dynamic
industry requirements. PSB have students coming from India and
other foreign destinations, students coming for exchange programs,
professional from industries, professionals coming for short
term programs, corporate training, etc.

ELIGIBILITY
Post Graduation Program
Candidates must have passed the requisite qualifying examination
with minimum 50% marks, which is a Bachelor Degree in any stream.
Under Graduation Program
Candidates must have passed the requisite qualifying examination
with minimum 50% marks, which is a 10+2 (Math’s compulsory
for BCA) or Equivalent.
English is the medium of instruction for the program, good proficiency
in English is imperative for Post Graduate as well as Under
Graduate Programs.
PLACEMENTS
The placements process for the graduating batch takes
place in February. There is also a lateral placement process
that provides students with substantial prior work experience
through on-the-job training in firms along with the management
program. Recruiting companies conduct Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs)
on campus through October-January that provide students with
information on companies, the roles and compensation packages
they offer. The final placement process works on a system where
companies are allotted date and time slots to conduct their
recruitment process on campus or off campus.
