Introduction
S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) is a constituent unit of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, which was founded in 1938 by the then Kulpati Dr. K.M. Munshi and 53 other eminent professionals. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. It is a trust of repute and eminence and is universally recognised for its educational as well as cultural activities. It also has international centers in the UK, USA, Canada, Portugal, South Africa, Kuwait, Mexico and Australia. |

Graduate Diploma in Management (2 years) (Full Time)
Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India or abroad.
Admission Process
- Applications are to be made online only. The Application processing fee is Rs.1200 and can be paid by
Credit Card or Demand Draft in favour of 'S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research'. The draft should
be sent to the Admissions Coordinator. Payment can also be made at cash collection counters.

Selection Process
- Test score: CAT 2009 or XAT 2010 or GMAT (taken in 2009).
- This year SPJIMR will have the interview process scheduled during January 2010 through March 2010. The
minimum score required to get the final offer is 85 percentile in CAT2009 / XAT2010 or a score of 680 in
GMAT taken in 2009.

Fee Structure
Program fee for PGDM 2009-11 is Rs. 3.20 lacs for the first year and Rs. 3.10 lacs for the second year (Excluding hostel fees of Rs. 35,000 per year).

Graduate Programme in Management (11 Month)
Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India or abroad.
- Work experience of 5 years after graduation.
Admission Procedure
Applications are to be made online only. The application-processing fee is Rs 1,000. It can be paid either by credit card or Demand Draft favouring 'S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research' payable at Mumbai or at the Authorized Cash collection Centres.

- CAT/XAT/GMAT score
- Work Experience - more than 5 years
- Past Academic Performance
- Extra curricular activities, other interest
- Accomplishments (Professional and Academic)
- All the above factors along with the performance
in the interviews are used to determine the eligibility
of candidates for offering final admission.
Selection will be largely determined by potential for
lateral shift, clear career plans, sound
purpose of taking up this programme and ability to map
the relationship between these by the prospective
candidate and SPJIMR's assessment of the above.

- Candidates need to fulfill four years of graduate education (a total of 16 years of formal education) in any
one of the following forms:-
- Engineering degree or
- Three year Bachelors degree with Maths as a subject/major plus a one year diploma/certificate.
Admission Procedure
- We regret to announce the withdrawal of the PGP(SM)-MIT
(Formerly PGDSM-MIT) Program 2010-12. Arrangements
have been made to refund the application money to all

Family Managed Business : (FMB) (2 years)
Eligibility
- The FMB Programme is open to graduate family
members with a significant stake in the family business.
Sponsorship by the business is essential.
Admission Procedure
- Selection is through assessment of the application followed by a test and personal interview.
- Information and Application Forms are available at the Centre for Family Managed Business, which is located within the SPJIMR Campus.

Executive
Management Programme (21months)
Eligibility
- Graduates with minimum 5 years experience and with a good track record and who are backed up/supported by their companies to do the program
Admission Procedure
- Application forms are to duly filled in and submitted along with sponsorship/forwarding letter from the employers.
- A cheques / DD for Rs 500 in favour of S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research.
Selection Procedure
The selection process will involve:
- IQ/Psychometric test
- Group discussion and
- Personal Interview, which will be held at our
campus at Andheri, Mumbai and will attempt to assess
whether the candidate is capable of owning
up the learning process and putting in extra hard work
through self-motivation.
