Career Forum, for the past many years, has been providing
the fastest and the most accurate analysis of MBA
entrance exams on the website. In our promptness to
display a detailed analysis of these exams, we are
proud to fulfill the expectations of students who
are so very eager to know where they stand.
This year XAT was a relief to the students considering
that there was no change in the paper pattern and
difficulty level of the test was reduced as compared
to last year's XAT.
We have given two Pre-Test papers: PreXAT-01 and PreXAT-02.This
year’s XAT paper was similar to Pre-Tests in
terms of the paper pattern as well as the difficulty
level.
One special feature of XAT 2006 and 2007 was progressive
negative marking. It was maintained in this year’s
paper as well.
This year too the negative marking was a major factor.
The negative marking for the first six wrong answers
was 1/4. Thereafter the negative marking was 1/2 per
question per section. Hence the selection of questions
and answering them with utmost accuracy was very crucial.
One had to make an attempt to strike the right option
at any cost, especially in case of the questions carrying
1/2 negative marking.
